One of RFS’s key missions is protecting the environment and we have taken a significant step forward in reducing our carbon footprint with the acquisition of our electric van.
We make over 1600 collections and deliveries a year, however, the process of transporting these items posed an environmental challenge that we were determined to address. Vanessa embodies our commitment to sustainability and this investment marks a significant milestone in our journey towards creating a more environmentally conscious operation.
Greener Operations – why now?
Our older, diesel van was showing its age and maintenance costs were increasing. With the expansion of the Ultra-Low Emission Zone (ULEZ), we knew we had to take action.
The electric delivery van is not just a practical addition to our fleet; it’s a visible reminder that small actions can lead to significant change.
