We are a small community charity working hard to fight furniture poverty, save stuff from landfill and build a volunteering community and we need your help.

We sell good quality donated furniture at affordable prices and offer discounts to people on low incomes.  We also work with other local charities, Richmond Council, Wandsworth Council and housing associations to enable people in need to spend grants with us.

Cash donations ensure we can:

  • Supply kitchen essential starter kits for people  on grants
  • Stock up on essential supplies for our workshop and refurbishment volunteers
  • Support community activities with other charities

Gift Aid

Donating furniture using Gift Aid allows us to generate an extra 25% in income. Last year RFS got £12,461 through Gift Aid.  This money allows us to help more people to get affordable furniture, strengthen our community with volunteering opportunities and save more furniture from ending up in landfill.

Any UK tax payer can make charitable donations of money or goods using Gift Aid.  All we need is your permission and your name and address, we can take this over the phone or in person and you can tick the Gift Aid box when you use our furniture donations online form.
